The majority of all the people that we share the LegalShield opportunity with fall into one category. It is not “yes” or “no” but maybe. Maybe might mean: Ultimately, this is a 3 to 5 or more exposure business. The section below provides a series of follow-up tools that will help you to become a master prospector. Use these tools and share them with your team.

If used properly, it will save you an enormous amount of time in “inspecting what you expect”. The greatest reasons for people struggling in the business is simply not talking to enough people and lack of follow up. Simple 3x5 Index Card Follow-Up System

Purchased inexpensively at your local office supply store, this is a simple and effective way to follow up with your best prospects in a timely fashion. Put the separation tabs in at 3 month increments and write the details of each conversation on a 3x5 card (job, kids, interest, last conversation, etc...).  Confirm when to follow up and place back in the system to call at the appropriate time.

Great website to show a prospect the financial strength and credibility of our ownership and management team. It lists current and previous companies under the MidOcean umbrella. (Sbarro’s Pizza, Bushnell, Hunter Fans, Jenny Craig)    
www.kroll.com - We often use this site for credibility purposes.   Our partnership with Kroll can be a powerful tool in the recruiting process.  It provides information without getting into great detail about the compensation structure etc.. If you are working in the cold market this can also be a useful website to establish credibility with saying too much.  

GreatWorkPlan.com - Fantastic 23min presentation by Patrick Shaw on the LegalShield Business opportunity. This video has powerful visuals and is a good first exposure if you cannot get your prospect to a formal presentation, or an excellent second exposure.

LegalShield Update PDF - This is a great PDF to substantiate the background of our new leadership. Again this is for the right person. Corporate management background, financial advisor etc...        
Good identity theft article about “new law that protects children from identity theft” that you can include in an e-mail with an explanation. The person you send it to should have children :) . You can explain how you can offer a powerful wall of protection and you would be happy to take 15 minutes and share the information with them. This might be a good PDF to share with someone with whom you are booking an appointment. Download    

Advanced Followup Tools:

Books: You can either send your prospect a link to download a book or better yet send a great prospect the actual book. This is obviously cost prohibitive to do with everyone, however, for a quality prospect, it is a great way to let them know you are committed to their success. The key is to identify the needs and interests of the prospect and send a book that will help them in that area, while potentially advancing your conversation about the business.

The Business of the 21st Century - This is a great tool for a great prospect. Perhaps a business owner or someone who likes LegalShield but clings to the concept that jobs offer security. This books talks about the power of building networks and the dead end road of trading time for money.            
Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill -   - This is a great book to send to a prospect with whom you’ve developed a great rapport, and/or a prospect you haven’t followed up with in a long time. It’s a great way to get a conversation about LegalShield started again.
